1.75″ x .120 wall DOM tube is the most common tube size when building bumpers, rock sliders, and cages for recreational off-road use. Depending on the application, it can also be used for structural members and as a reinforcement for 2″ DOM structural tubes. DOM tubing is more dent resistant than cheaper HREW tubing, which under extreme stress, splits down the seam, failing.
